LOG CABIN RENTALS

The log cabins and the main lodge are located on the shores of beautiful, crystal clear Moosehead Lake. The cabins are all comfortably furnished with gas stoves and refrigerators. The kitchens are completely equipped with dishes and cooking utensils and each cabin has a full bath. An airtight stove insures warmth and comfort in every season. Fresh linen and towels are provided to all our guests. We are located at the end of a 4 mile, privately owned and personally maintained road; offering both the conveniences of town and the advantage of a woodland hide-away.
 
 
The Main Lodge

The grandest lodge on Moosehead Lake was built on Tomhegan Point in 1910. Sporting a main room of massive hand-hewn logs with rustic furnishings and a fieldstone fireplace, that gives the room a classic Maine ambiance. A completely updated lodge kitchen with modern appliances can produce meals to please any hungry crowd. With the capacity to sleep at least 30 people, the Lodge package is perfect for family reunions, retreats and conferences.

Price List:  Effective - July 8th, 2010

  • Open year round except for Mud Season (give us a call to make sure).
  • Unless otherwise stated, cabin rates are for up to 4 people.
  • Each additional person over 4 people is $40.00 per night and children ages 5 to 12 yrs. old are $20 per night
  • Children ages 4 and under are free
  • Each cabin and the Lodge have a private waterfront and beautiful views of Moosehead Lake.
  • Gas grills provided with each cabin and Lodge
  • Firewood provided for Lodge and cabins with woodstoves
  • Sheets, blankets and towels provided with each cabin and Lodge
  • Boats w/ motors, canoes, kayaks and ice shacks are available for rent, see below.
  • Guide Service is available for fishing or nature watching tours
  • We have wireless Internet access, No TV’s in cabins or Lodge
  • No ATV’s, motorcycles or Jet Ski’s allowed.
  • Free boat launch and overnight marina docking for guests
  • Sorry, due to the amount of wildlife at Tomhegan, we do not allow pets.
  • Check-in: 3 p.m. Check-out: 10 a.m.
  • July & August Rentals are weekly rentals only - Saturday to Saturday

Maximum of 30 people, Tomhegan Lodge - The entire Lodge (including the below described Rooms 1-4) may be rented for $475 per night (3 night minimum). The Lodge Package includes use of a fully equipped, commercial kitchen and large living room/dining room with fieldstone fireplace. Maximum of 30 people. The weekly rate is @ $2,835.00 for the first 17 people.

Rooms 1 and 2 – have kitchen and dining area with beautiful hardwood floors, 2 queen size beds and 1 set of twin bunk beds. Private bath. A Large glass door onto deck. overlooking the lake.

Rooms 3 and 4 –have beautiful hardwood floors, 1 queen bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and private bath. A Large glass door onto deck, overlooking the lake.

The Main floor guest room has a King bed and 2 sets of twin Bunk beds and a fireplace.

Rates for 2: Nightly Rate $105.00/night
Each additional person $ 40.00/night

A 50% deposit is required with all cabin and Lodge reservations. Deposits must be received within 10 days in order to confirm reservation. Refunds will be made only with a 60 day cancellation notice. Rental Agreement must be signed. No refund for early departure. Personal checks, money orders, certified funds or Visa/MC only. No cash please. A Cabin or Lodge Room cleaning/damage deposit of $40, Lodge Package $100 (cash or check) is due upon arrival. This will be returned to you if your lodging is left in good condition. All rates are subject to change without notice. All rates are subject to Maine lodging tax.
